Sensitive information exchanged during mobile phone conversations can be intercepted by illegal surveillance activities: with kryptoCOM you do not incur in this risk! kryptoCOM was specially designed not to allow to retrieve the encryption keys in any case: the keys are SECURELY DELETED after each call (consequently impossible to be retrieved also with Forensic Analysis software).

kryptoCOM is a call encryption software specially designed and preloaded on an HTC Touch Viva handset.

kryptoCOM delivers full protection from IMSI catchers, devices for intercepting GSM phones used by Intelligence and Law Enforcement agencies.
kryptoCOM uses the CSD channel (which enables data/FAX traffic) to establish encrypted mobile communications on GSM networks.

Calls made to or received from insecure mobile phones that don't use kryptoCOM work the same as normal cellular phone calls. You can use kryptoCOM for both clear and encrypted calls.

The technology used by kryptoCOM relies on end-to-end secure GSM encryption with AES256 bit cipher key generated with Elliptic Curves Diffie-Hellman (ECDH) 571 bits (equivalent of Diffie-Hellman with 15.000+ bit key); a new key is being generated for each call.

kryptoCOM is available ONLY pre-installed on HTC Touch Viva GSM.  Encrypted calls are possible ONLY among kryptoCOM handsets.

WHY CHOOSE KRYPTOCOM?

c. What about kryptoCOM security?
kryptoCOM uses Elliptic Curves Diffie-Hellman key exchange algorithm 571 bits which is 1.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 more secure than other product using Diffie-Hellman 4096 bit.
The keys are randomly generated for each call and then being securely deleted at each call's end.
Each time your kryptoCOM is switched off, a secure deletion cycle takes place for maximum protection.
Encrypted calls are possible ONLY among kryptoCOM handsets to guarantee enhanced security.

d. Is there any export limitation? Am I allowed to buy kryptoCOM?
There are certain export limitations outside EU; kryptoCOM is classified as dual-use good and classified under Category 5A002.a1 according to Council Regulation (EC) No 1167/2008. Before buying check if your country legislation has further limitations on usage and import of cryptographic technologies. Further, country specific information are available on the Wassenaar Arrangement website.

e. Is there any delay in kryptoCOM calls?
Yes, the world's lowest. Less than 0.7s. Despite of what competitors may advertise it is impossible to have zero-delays on crypto calls.

f. Does kryptoCOM work in any country?
Yes, as far as the CSD or HSCSD is offered by the Mobile Operator you are using.
